How we protect access to your home
This is the most sensitive data we hold, so it gets specific treatment rather than a general promise:
- Alarm codes, key locations and entry notes are encrypted in the database with a key held separately. A copy of our database on its own does not reveal them.
- A cleaner can see them only for a job assigned to them, and only from 12 hours before until 12 hours after that job. This is enforced by the database itself, not by a staff rule.
- A cleaner who leaves us loses all access immediately and cannot retrieve any customer address.
- Every viewing is logged with who looked and when. Ask us and we will tell you exactly who has seen your entry details.
Who we share it with
The cleaner assigned to your clean, within the window above. Our hosting provider (Supabase, EU region) and our email provider, as processors under contract. Our accountant, for invoices. Nobody else — we do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising.
Where it lives
Inside the European Economic Area. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA.
How long we keep it
- Job photos: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Unanswered enquiries: 30 days.
- Invoices and accounting records: six years, as Irish tax law requires.
- Access logs: 24 months.
- Everything else: while your account is open, and for one year after you close it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent to marketing. Email hello@aplusservices.ie and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re not happy with our response you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, dataprotection.ie.
Cookies
We set one cookie, and only after you sign in: the session cookie that keeps you signed in. There is no analytics or advertising tracking on this site, which is why there is no cookie banner.
