Cleaning work in Dublin, done properly

What the job is

Cleaning homes in south Dublin — mostly regular customers you see every week or fortnight, so you get to know the houses and the people. Three jobs a day at most. We plan your round so your jobs are near each other rather than sending you across the city.

You work from a checklist in our app, tick off what you’ve done, and take a couple of photos at the end. No cash to collect, no prices to negotiate, no chasing anyone for payment. If a customer asks for something extra, you tell them to ring the office.

Why we do it this way

Most cleaning platforms in Ireland classify cleaners as self-employed contractors. It is cheaper for them and it pushes tax, insurance and sick days onto you.

We think that is both wrong and, since the Supreme Court’s decision in the Karshan case, legally shaky when the company sets the price, the schedule and the standard — which we do. So we employ people. It costs us more per hour, and it is the reason our customers pay what they pay.
