Terms of service

1. Who we are

These terms are between you and A Plus Services Limited, of Unit 4, Sandyford Business Park, Dublin, D18 K277. By booking a clean you agree to them.

2. What we provide

We provide domestic cleaning by cleaners we employ, at the address and on the schedule you book. Each service has a published checklist; that checklist is what we undertake to do.

We supply cleaning products and equipment unless you ask us to use yours.

3. Price and payment

The price shown at booking is the price you pay. It is calculated from the size of your home and the service you choose, and it does not change unless you ask us to do additional work.

We invoice after each clean. Invoices are payable within 7 days by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice.

If your home takes materially longer than estimated — because of its condition rather than its size — we will tell you before doing the extra work and agree a price with you first.

4. Changing or cancelling a clean

You can move or skip a visit free of charge up to 24 hours before it is due, from your account or by contacting us.

Inside that window we may charge for the visit, because your cleaner has already turned down other work for that slot. We apply this with common sense — illness and emergencies are not what it is for.

You can cancel a recurring plan at any time. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

5. Access to your home

You are responsible for making sure we can get in. If we arrive and cannot access the property, we will contact you and wait a reasonable time, and the visit may be charged in full.

Entry details you give us (keys, codes, instructions) are encrypted and are visible only to the cleaner assigned to your clean, within a limited window around it. Every access is logged.

6. Our standard, and what happens if we miss it

If you are not happy with a clean, tell us within 48 hours and we will return and put it right at no charge.

If you would rather not have us back, we will refund that visit.

7. Damage and insurance

We carry public liability insurance of €6.5m and employers' liability insurance of €13m.

If we damage something, tell us as soon as you notice and we will deal with it. Please report damage within 48 hours where you can, so we can establish what happened.

We ask you to secure or put away anything genuinely irreplaceable or of very high value before a clean. We do not accept liability for damage to items that were fragile or already damaged and not pointed out to us.

8. Our cleaners

Our cleaners are our employees. Please do not offer them cash work directly — it removes their insurance cover and their employment protections, and it is a breach of these terms.

If you engage a cleaner introduced by us privately within six months of their last clean for us, an introduction fee may apply.

Please treat our cleaners with respect. We will end a contract where a cleaner is subjected to abuse, harassment or unsafe conditions, and we will do so without notice.

9. Health and safety

Our cleaners will not work at height beyond a two-step stool, move heavy furniture, handle bodily fluids or clinical waste, or work in a property they judge unsafe.

Please tell us in advance about pets, damp, mould, pest issues or anything else that affects how we work.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our liability for any one clean is limited to the price of that clean plus the cost of putting right any damage we caused.

11. Your rights as a consumer

These terms do not affect your statutory rights under Irish consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
